Learn-to-Swim

Our Learn-to-Swim courses offer something for everybody. A unique six level instructional approach is unlike anything offered by other aquatic training providers. This swimming instruction exceeds the expectations of parents and keeps them involved in the learning process. Two booklets for participants in Learn-to-Swim Levels 1-2 and Levels 3-4 reinforce skills learned in class and keep parents informed of their children's progress. YMCA and Red Cross certified instructors teach a variety of strokes, including the front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, breaststroke, sidestroke, and butterfly. They also introduce diving techniques. More advanced-level students refine their skills and learn how to incorporate swimming into a lifelong fitness program.
