MS Fitness
A specifically designed class for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) as well as for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, stroke recovery, cystic fibrosis, etc. Using the support of a chair or a wheelchair, you will spend time with stretches, strength training, balance, and breathing techniques. Benefits include increased body awareness, release of muscular tension (thus relieving spasticity), increased coordination and balance, increased flexibility and strength, control over fatigue, increased tolerance to heat, improved circulation and breathing, better management of stress and an overall feeling of well-being.
Choose to register for 1 or 2 classes per week.
Length: (7 wk session)
Fees: Member $14 1x/wk, $28 2x/wk
Non-Member $25 1x/wk, $50 2x/wk
