Ways To Give
The YMCA Heritage Club
The YMCA Heritage Club is a special group of friends of the YMCA, who believe in the mission of the Y, share in its ideals and traditions, and are committed to preserving the heritage of the YMCA for years to come. Established in 1999, the Heritage Club encourages thoughtful gifts as a primary means of building a strong endowment capable of providing lasting support for the YMCA’s mission.
The YMCA would like to welcome you as our newest Heritage Club member. Please contact the YMCA and let us know if we are in your estate plans, or if you would like to make a gift.
YMCA of Kanawha Valley Endowment Fund, Inc. Established
The YMCA Endowment Fund is a recognized independent charity with its own board of directors. The Fund is a “supporting” endowment of the YMCA and exists solely to raise funds, invest those fundsand distribute proceeds from those investments to the YMCA.
The Endowment board, chaired by David Lanham, Lanham, O’Dell and Co., works to grow the endowment by prudent investments as well as soliciting new contributions to the Fund from current and former YMCA members and friends. The revenues generated can be used for a specific program, such as summer camp or designated for unrestricted general use.
Endowment contributions will help the YMCA continue to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities through programs and services that emphasize caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Please help us reach our goal! For more information please contact John Giroir at (304) 340-3540 or email at johng@ymcawv.org.
